What’s New in Season 1: Eternal Night Falls

According to a recent developer update from NetEase Games, Marvel Rivals is set to bring several new features to the table, including:

• Fresh New York City Maps: Explore revamped environments that bring the bustling city to life.
• Doom Match Game Mode: A new gameplay mode designed to challenge even seasoned players.
• Season 1 Battle Pass: For 990 Lattice (approximately $10), players can access the battle pass, earning 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. These rewards can be used to purchase additional cosmetics in the game’s shop.

Revealing the Skins: Eternal Night Falls Battle Pass

In a Twitter post, user X0X_LEAK shared footage of popular streamer xQc unveiling all 10 skins included in the battle pass. While some, like Magneto’s King Magnus costume, were previously teased, most of the skins are being revealed for the first time. The first page of the pass includes stunning new cosmetics for Moon Knight and Loki:

• Loki – All-Butcher: Accompanied by a full cosmetic bundle including an emote, MVP screen, and more.
• Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight: A standalone, strikingly dark outfit.

Each character, aside from Moon Knight, features a complete bundle of cosmetics, akin to those found in the in-game shop.

The darker aesthetic of most cosmetics fits the season’s vampire-inspired theme. However, Peni Parker’s Blue Tarantula skin offers a vibrant departure, standing out with its bold colors. Fans are particularly excited about Wolverine’s Blood Berserker look, described as a vampire hunter-style outfit complete with white hair, a wide-brimmed hat, and a long cloak.

Expanding the Roster: New Heroes Incoming

In addition to the new cosmetics, NetEase Games announced the addition of new characters to the roster. Players can look forward to:

• Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic debuting at the start of Season 1.
• Human Torch and The Thing joining during a mid-season update in six to seven weeks.
