Your Secret Superpower!
Have you ever felt yourself enter that space where you don’t overreact, but instead feel a deep connection within yourself?
I often wondered why sometimes I could be fully present in situations, and other times not; why sometimes I was less reactive, and other times not; why sometimes I felt powerful, and other times I didn’t. Over time, I noticed myself becoming more responsive, less reactive.
When people asked me what made the difference, I couldn’t answer… and so I became curious. I started observing myself. At the beginning, nothing made sense. Then, I began to honor the time I had in my silence, moments like when I went to the beach and just sat, staring at the ocean.
I felt a sense of calmness, and I started practicing conscious breathing because I had heard it was good for our health. Back then, I didn’t do much… but gradually, I noticed something remarkable happening every time I entered that state of breathing: I felt anchored.
It took me some time to realize that there was a space between the inhale and the exhale. A tiny, neutral space where you don’t need to be anyone, you don’t need to think or feel. That space… that pause… became my superpower. Every time I entered that state, I felt relaxed, my nervous system found peace, and I realized that in that pause, I was reclaiming my energy and power. From that place, I could respond to life with clarity and make conscious decisions.
This pause became a chapter of my journey. A small, simple practice that quietly changed the way I move through the world. If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment or reach out. We can always stay in touch and explore this together.
