AI Startup Gamma Reaches $2.1B Valuation with $100M ARR, Founder Highlights Growth”

AI Startup Gamma Hits $2.1B Valuation Following $68M Series B Round

Cyprus Business Group – November 2025

Gamma, the AI-powered startup known for generating presentations, websites, and social media content, has announced a $68 million Series B funding round, achieving a valuation of $2.1 billion. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, signaling strong investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory.

Revenue Milestones and User Growth

Co-founder and CEO Grant Lee shared on X that Gamma has reached $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), boasting a user base of 70 million. “The startup hit $50 million profitably in its first two years,” Lee noted in an earlier post. This growth comes after a $12 million Series A funding round led by Accel in 2024.

A Calculated Approach to Fundraising

Founded in late 2020, with its product officially launching in 2022, Gamma has taken a relatively cautious approach to fundraising compared with other AI startups. This measured strategy allowed the company to reach a double-unicorn valuation on a total capital raise of roughly $90 million. According to Lee, the company has accomplished this with a lean team of just 50 employees.

The Series B round also included a $20 million secondary offering, providing liquidity for early employees, the company confirmed to TechCrunch. Additional participation came from investors Accel and Uncork Capital, with prior backers including South Park Commons and Hustle Fund.

Looking Ahead

Gamma’s combination of profitable growth, a large user base, and strategic fundraising positions the startup as a significant player in the AI productivity space. As AI-driven tools continue to reshape workplace productivity, Gamma’s approach—balancing cautious scaling with strong revenue generation—offers a model for sustainable growth in the AI sector.
