That single idea sits at the heart of Nasty Flora, an avant-garde floral studio that is quietly changing what Cyprus expects from a florist. Even the name gives the game away. “Nasty” is a nod to Anastasia herself, and a promise that this studio isn’t here to play it safe.

The artist behind the blooms

Anastasia is a self-taught creative with years of experience in the floral industry. She learned the trade from the inside, stem by stem and season by season. Then she started bending the rules.

She treats flowers as raw material rather than decoration. Colour, texture, shape and scale become her tools, and a room becomes her canvas. The result is floral work that stops people mid-step. It is part installation and part statement, and it is impossible to ignore.

From solo talent to studio

Talent like Anastasia’s is rare. Building a business around it takes a different set of skills.

So Anastasia teamed up with Elina and Tian. The aim was simple: combine their strengths and build the island’s most creative floral studio. Anastasia brings the vision. Elina and Tian bring the structure, the systems and the reach that let a creative practice grow without losing its soul.

Meet the team

• Anastasia: the creative flame. She is the artist and the source of every idea. She designs each piece and leads it from first sketch to final stem.
• Elina: coordination. Elina keeps everything moving. She handles timelines, logistics and the client relationship, so ambitious ideas arrive on time and exactly as promised.
• Tian: business solutions and marketing. Tian shapes the strategy behind the studio. That means how it grows, how it reaches new clients, and how its work is seen.
• Elina and Tian are fellow creatives and entrepreneurs. Together they run Copacabana.space, a creative studio, alongside their own successful start-ups. They know what it takes to turn a creative vision into a business that lasts.

Nasty Flora is still young, but its client list already speaks for itself. The studio has created work for the A. G. Leventis Gallery, Bang & Olufsen and Jo Malone London.

An art gallery, a design-led audio brand and a luxury fragrance house all set a high bar for aesthetics. Each of them chose flowers as art, not flowers as filler.
