Oura Health Secures $875M Series E, Valuation Nears $11 Billion
Fintech meets wellness: Oura Health Oy, the company behind the popular Oura smart ring, is set to raise $875 million in its Series E funding round, bringing its valuation to roughly $10.9 billion, according to Bloomberg.
The financing, expected to close by the end of this month, marks a significant jump from Oura’s $5 billion valuation during its Series D round in December 2024. Bloomberg also reports that the Series E round could ultimately surpass $900 million.
Sales and Revenue Growth Skyrocket
Oura has now sold 5.5 million rings worldwide, a significant increase from 2.5 million units reported in June 2024. Revenue projections are equally impressive: the company expects to surpass $1 billion this year, doubling the $500 million recorded in 2024. Looking ahead to 2026, Oura forecasts sales exceeding $1.5 billion.
Strategic Use of Funds
The new capital will be directed toward scaling production, accelerating international expansion, and funding further product development.
Key Drivers Behind the Surge
Bloomberg highlights several factors behind Oura’s rapid growth: a rising base of female consumers, stronger retail store sales, purchases made through health savings accounts, and expansion into international markets.
Oura’s combination of technology-driven health tracking and strategic growth initiatives positions it as a major player in the wellness tech sector.
