The Library and Information Services of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) is a modern academic library that supports learning, teaching, and research across the university community. Located in Limassol, the library combines traditional academic resources with a strong digital infrastructure, helping students, researchers, and faculty access trusted information in efficient and flexible ways. The library opened in 2007 and is housed in the restored Old Court of Limassol, known as the “Vasilis Michailides” building, giving it both academic value and cultural significance.
Its services include access to databases, electronic journals, electronic books, circulation support, interlibrary loan, remote access, and research assistance. The library also manages KTISIS, the institutional open-access repository of CUT, which preserves and shares the university’s research output and academic material. In addition, the library participates in organizations and collaborative frameworks such as the Cyprus Libraries Consortium, which helps expand the range of resources available to users. The electronic book collection alone includes about 600,000 titles, showing the scale of its digital offering. Overall, CUT Library serves as an important academic hub, combining information services, digital collections, and research support in a way that strengthens the university’s educational and scholarly mission.
